Responses collected during month of October
Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA) values customer opinions and strives to continually improve service and quality for riders.
During the month of October, MVTA encourages participation in the 2024 Customer Survey, which will help shape the direction of public transit service in the near future.
The feedback collected will inform strategies, priorities, investments, and potential future route expansions.
The survey is designed to take less than 10 minutes and is available in multiple languages. Survey participation is anonymous, and information won’t be provided to any third-party organizations.
MVTA staff members will be promoting the survey at transit stations, on bus routes and in the community during the month of October.
“It’s vital that we gather a broad swath of input so we have information that will help us set the course to best serve our customers,” said Joya Stetson, MVTA Planning and Public Outreach Manager.
Customers who submit a completed survey will be entered into drawing for a $25 Go-To Card (10 cards will be given away). Drawing entries will be handled separately and won’t be tied to survey responses. To be entered in the drawing, please include your name and contact information at the end of the survey.
Following the completion of surveying in October, MVTA staff will conduct in-house statistical analysis that will guide a report of findings. Because respondents and communities deserve updates and conclusions yielded from their participation, MVTA will produce a summary report that will outline the themes and demographic representation observed. Further, the summary document will provide the next steps for how the data will inform and improve service in the future.
