Skol! New express service to Vikings games
Depart from Shakopee or Burnsville
Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA) invites football fans to tackle the traffic this season and take advantage of new express bus service from the south metro to all home Minnesota Vikings games.
Bus service will run from both the Shakopee and the Burnsville transit stations to the Gateway Ramp near U.S. Bank Stadium in downtown Minneapolis. Return trips will depart from the Gateway Ramp 30 minutes after the game ends. The round-trip cost is $5 person. Cash only.
“The Vikings are primed for an excellent season on the field this year and we are excited to offer fans a convenient and hassle-free way to take in all the action at U.S. Bank Stadium. Football fans have been asking for this service for several years,” said Luther Wynder, MVTA executive director. “MVTA service direct from Burnsville and Shakopee will arrive in time for fans to relax and take part in the pre-game festivities at and around the stadium. When the game is over the MVTA service will quickly transport riders out of downtown and back to their vehicles in time to catch up on the post-game highlights. Riding MVTA is the perfect way to have a memorable game day experience.”
