MVTA’s new schedule for Route 465/Route 495 gets people from Minneapolis to destinations in Scott County faster!

MVTA recently added trips on route 465, which serves the Cedar Riverside area of Minneapolis and connects with Route 495 in Burnsville. Route 495 has coordinated connection times at Burnsville Transit Station and takes customers to Shakopee faster than before.

The 465/495 connection cuts about a half hour off the previous travel time from Cedar Riverside to Shakopee.

We’ve been adjusting routes in coordination with the business community – particularly in Shakopee – to help connect employers and employees. The 495 has stops at the Amazon Fulfillment Center timed with shift changes.

The route also is connected to Mystic Lake, via the Mystic Lake Shuttle that picks up frequently at the Marschall Road Transit Station in Shakopee.

So whether you’re looking for work or entertainment options in Shakopee, the new Route 465/Route 495 schedule can get you there faster!
