Ride with MVTA to Gopher football games!

$1 round-trip service to October home games

Minnesota Valley Transit Authority (MVTA) invites Minnesota Gopher football fans to take express bus service from Burnsville Transit Station to U of M home games for the remainder of the season. Express bus service is available for $1 round-trip for October games (trips will be $5 round-trip for November games).

Bus service will run from Burnsville Transit Station, 100 E. Highway 13, to Huntington Bank Stadium. Return trips will depart 30 minutes and 60 minutes after the game ends. Riders can pay cash while boarding (drivers don’t make change) or purchase a ticket on MVTA’s Ride MVTA app. 

The Ride MVTA app is available for iPhones at the Apple App Store and for Android users its available at the Google Play Store.   

Free parking is available at Burnsville Transit Station and connections to Burnsville Transit Station are available on Route 495 (Shakopee – Burnsville Transit Station – Mall of America).

The schedule with departure times is below (game times are determined on a week-to-week basis).

Home Schedule

Saturday, Oct 23:  2:30 p.m. (Maryland Terrapins)

Buses will depart Burnsville Transit Station at 12:55 p.m. and 1:25 p.m. Return buses will depart Huntington Bank Stadium and will leave 30 minutes and 60 minutes after the conclusion of the game.

Saturday, Nov. 6: Game Time TBD (Illinois Fighting Illini)

Saturday, Nov. 27: Game Time TBD (Wisconsin Badgers)
