MVTA schedule changes take effect Saturday, Feb. 20. New routing for Route 447 connects Mystic Lake Casino to Apple Valley Transit Station, with stops in Prior Lake, Savage, and Burnsville Center. Route 442 has time adjustments and Route 442X will now stop at the Twin Cities Premium Outlets mall in Eagan. Effective July 25, customers are required to wear face coverings on MVTA buses and other public transit, according to an executive order signed Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Research has shown that use of face coverings can greatly reduce the risk of infection when combined with other prevention efforts such as social distancing and hand hygiene, according to the governor’s order.

• Face coverings can be a paper or disposable mask, a cloth mask, a neck gaiter, a scarf, a bandanna, or a religious face covering.
• A face covering must cover the nose and mouth completely.
