Ride Free to Food Pantries with MVTA Connect

Free rides are available on MVTA Connect to make it easier for community members to access local food pantries. Eligible rides must begin or end at a food pantry located within an MVTA Connect Service Area. Each account is eligible for up to four free rides between Friday, November 7, and Friday, November 21.

Using the Promo Code
When booking your ride, enter MVTA to Pantry in the promo code field at checkout.
If you’re booking for multiple people, please complete separate transactions to use the promo code (up to four free rides per account).
Children 5 and under ride free. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Fares are per person, per trip.
Limit four free rides per account.

Looking to Help?
We’ve placed food donation bins at the Burnsville, Eagan, and Apple Valley Transit Stations to collect non-perishable food items for local families in need. All donations will be delivered to 360 Communities and the CAP Agency in Scott and Dakota County.
