Most MVTA park & rides have bike racks available.
- MVTA buses are equipped with front racks that accommodate up to two bicycles
- Bikes may not be brought inside buses
- MVTA assumes no liability for bikes placed in the exterior racks of any bus
Several MVTA facilities are located along bike routes. Dakota County Bike Trails. Scott County Bike Trails.
Bike lockers are available at several MVTA park & rides for $5 per month (minimum 2 month rental) plus a $25 deposit (returned when you turn in the key at the end of the rental term). Please come to the Burnsville Transit Station, 100 East Highway 13, to turn in your rental form and receive your key.
The MVTA Stroller Policy states that all strollers must be folded during your trip. If it is not feasible for you to do so, you must obtain a stroller waiver form that will grant you an exemption from this policy. Forms can be downloaded here or picked up at the Burnsville Transit Station, 100 East Highway 13.
