Most MVTA park & rides have bike racks available.

• MVTA buses are equipped with front racks that accommodate up to two bicycles
• Bikes may not be brought inside buses
• MVTA assumes no liability for bikes placed in the exterior racks of any bus

Several MVTA facilities are located along bike routes. Dakota County Bike Trails. Scott County Bike Trails.

Bike lockers are available at several MVTA park & rides for $5 per month (minimum 2 month rental) plus a $25 deposit (returned when you turn in the key at the end of the rental term). Please come to the Burnsville Transit Station, 100 East Highway 13, to turn in your rental form and receive your key.

On MVTA buses, children must be removed from strollers, and strollers must be folded and stored under the seat or in a location that does not obstruct aisles or doors. Operators are not permitted to secure strollers in mobility device areas.

It is the responsibility of the stroller owner to maintain control of the stroller at all times and remain seated nearby to ensure it does not pose a risk to others.

Infants and small children must be held securely. If in a car seat, the car seat must always be kept under control.
