2025 MVTA STUFF THE BUS
MVTA is excited to once again host Stuff the Bus this year!
Stuff the Bus is a multi-day food drive held at local grocery stores throughout Scott and Dakota counties. MVTA staff will be on-site at multiple locations, collecting nonperishable food items and monetary donations to support our neighbors in need.
After the event, we’ll “stuff the bus” with all donated items and deliver them to 360 Communities in Burnsville.
Your generosity helps support local families this season. Stop by any location, say hello to MVTA staff, and help us Stuff the Bus!

Park & Ride Usage
MVTA saw a 21.1% increase in Park & Ride usage compared to 2024, with Apple Valley Transit Station ranking 2nd in the region, Burnsville Transit Station ranking 3rd, and Eagan Transit Station ranking 10th.

Ride with MVTA to all Minnesota Vikings Home Games! December Vikings games on the 7th and 25th.
BUCK HILL SERVICE IS BACK!
Exciting news! Buck Hill service is back for its second year. Weekend trips will operate hourly from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays through mid-March 2026.
Riders can catch the Buck Hill bus from Burnsville Transit Station, Heart of the City Station (with timed Orange Line connections), or Burnsville Center. Routing improvements will help shorten travel times. The Buck Hill stop is located on Buck Hill Road before the parking lot entrance.

MVTA hit the streets with a mission — to connect with our community and hear directly from our riders.
What did we find? Our riders had plenty to share. Many emphasized how essential public transit is in their daily lives — for some, it’s their only means of getting where they need to go.
