4Fun Bus
The 4Fun Bus is back for another season to take you to all of the south metro’s best summer attractions!
MVTA’s 4FUN Bus is a safe and affordable way to visit some of the south metro’s best summer attractions!
The 4FUN Bus takes riders to Valleyfair, Canterbury Park, Mystic Lake Casino Hotel, the Mall of America, and new this season, the Twin Cities Premium Outlets with stops at Burnsville Transit Station and Marschall Road Transit Station.
- Download the RideMVTA App, use the website trip planner, grab a pocket schedule, or call MVTA at 952-882-7500 to plan your trip.
- Arrive 5 minutes early to the transit station
- Locate the bus that says 4FUN on the head sign
- Have your fare ready.
- Insert the exact cash or tap the Go-To Card when boarding
- Sit back, and enjoy the ride to the hottest attractions in the south metro!
The 4FUN Bus operates Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
*Persons with Disabilities
- Reduced fare applies for persons with a Metro Mobility card, Metro Transit ID card, or Minnesota Driver’s License or State ID with an “L” endorsement. Note that Medicare cards are valid as identification only for non-rush hour trips
*Disabled Veterans
- An ID issued by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs showing “Service Connected” or “SC” must be shown to the driver. Effective July 1, 2009
The stop at Mall of America provides a great connection to the regional transit system that will allow people from around the metro to connect to the 4FUN Bus. The Blue Line, for instance, offers frequent service from Minneapolis to the Mall of America where passengers can transfer to the 4FUN Bus.
Connections to Burnsville Transit Station can be made from Savage Park & Ride and Cedar Grove Transit Station via the 444. Route 447 connects to the 4FUN bus at Mystic Lake through Apple Valley Transit Station.
