Construction to modify parking, Connect pick-up area at AVTS

Parking and pedestrian access modifications are being made this week at Apple Valley Transit Station as part of a station improvement project.
Parking Restrictions
About 110 parking spaces on Level 1 of the ramp will temporarily close as part of the project. To help offset the impact, additional spaces will open between Levels 3 and 4, resulting in a net reduction of about 70 parking spaces.
Customers should follow posted signage directing them to available parking areas.
Pedestrian Access and Accessibility
Pedestrian routes between the parking ramp and bus platform will be modified during construction. Customers should follow posted signs and designated walkways.
Elevators and accessible parking will remain available on all open parking levels. Stairwell exits will also remain accessible.
Plan Ahead
Customers are encouraged to allow additional time for parking, walking to the bus platform and locating their MVTA Connect pickup area.
MVTA pick-up location
During construction, MVTA Connect pick-ups and drop-offs will take place at the Bay D platform of the northbound station.
MVTA appreciates customers’ patience and cooperation as improvements continue at Apple Valley Transit Station. These modifications are expected to last through the end of the year.
