157th Street Station Re-Opening
Join Us for the MVTA 157th Street Station Re-Opening! MVTA and the Apple Valley Chamber of Commerce are celebrating the re-opening of the 157th Street Station featuring service on routes 477 and 420 to downtown Minneapolis, Apple Valley Transit Station, Dakota County Technical College (DCTC), and more!
Network with peers, enjoy light refreshments, learn about upcoming improvements, and plan your next trip!
Staff will be on-site from 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM to answer questions and provide information!

GET TO Rhythm on the Rails BY TAKING Route 497
Skip the parking hassle and ride with MVTA to Rhythm on the Rails! Enjoy six weeks of free concerts held in Downtown Shakopee. Check out vendors, food trucks, kids’ activities, and more!
Hop onto Route 497 and enjoy the ride – depart bus at 1st Ave at Huber Park (Stop Id: 31770).
To go back home, head to stop at 1st Ave at Huber Park S Corner (Stop Id: 30935) and hop back onto Route 497!
DID YOU KNOW?
MVTA buses are equipped with front racks that accommodate one to two bicycles! With summer in full swing, it’s a great time to get to local bike trails within the South Metro! Several MVTA facilities are located along bike routes.
